Stop buying Telegram accounts. Seriously. Here's why they always get banned
Stop buying Telegram accounts. Here's why they always get banned.
TL;DR: Bought 300+ accounts over 6 months. 94% got banned within 2 weeks. Here's the data and why you should never do this.
I see this advice everywhere: "buy aged Telegram accounts for better reputation." I tried it. Three times. Lost money every single time. Here's the data.
The Experiment
Over 6 months, I bought accounts from 4 different sellers. Here's what happened:
| Seller | Accounts | Price | Survived 2 Weeks | Survived 1 Month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seller A (Telegram groups) | 50 | $10 each | 8 (16%) | 2 (4%) |
| Seller B (Freelance sites) | 80 | $8 each | 12 (15%) | 3 (4%) |
| Seller C ("Premium" service) | 100 | $15 each | 22 (22%) | 6 (6%) |
| Seller D (Bulk discount) | 75 | $5 each | 3 (4%) | 0 (0%) |
| Total | 305 | $2,900 | 45 (15%) | 11 (4%) |
Read that again. 96% of bought accounts dead within a month. $2,900 wasted.
Why They Get Banned
Telegram's anti-spam system isn't stupid. It detects bought accounts because:
- Seller recycled them. The same account was sold to multiple buyers. Telegram sees login from new IPs/devices.
- No organic history. Bought accounts have zero group participation, zero messages, zero reactions. They look like bots.
- Seller used them for spam first. Many sellers "warm up" accounts by spamming. The account is already flagged before you get it.
- IP mismatch. You login from your country, but the account was created in India. Red flag.
- Mass creation pattern. Telegram can detect when 100 accounts were created from the same device/network.
What to Do Instead
Create your own accounts. Yes, it takes longer. But here's why it works:
- Cost: $0. SIM cards are $2-5 each. That's your only cost.
- 100% clean history. No spam flags, no recycled IPs.
- You control the warmup. Build reputation gradually.
- Survival rate: 90%+. vs 4% for bought accounts.
The math: 5 self-created accounts × $3 SIM = $15. 90% survive = 4-5 active accounts.
Bought accounts: 50 accounts × $10 = $500. 4% survive = 2 active accounts.
$15 for 5 accounts vs $500 for 2. It's not even close.
The Warmup Timeline
| Week | Action | Messages/Day |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Join groups, browse, react | 0 |
| 2 | Comment in group chats | 0 (group only) |
| 3 | Start DMs, 5/day | 5 |
| 4 | Increase to 10/day | 10 |
| 5+ | Full outreach, 15-20/day | 15-20 |
4 weeks to get a fully warmed-up account. vs 2 weeks before a bought account gets banned.
Bottom Line
Buying Telegram accounts is a scam. The sellers know it, the data proves it, and your wallet feels it. Create your own, warm them up properly, and you'll have accounts that actually last.
